If you had the opportunity teach the future entrepreneurs of the iGeneration one thing, what would it be?
Last April 7, I had the privilege to have an audience of 150 graduating BS Entrepreneurship students of the oldest university in the Philippines – the University of Santo Tomas in Manila for their penultimate seminar with the theme “Entrepreneurial Mindset towards Finance.” I was asked to talk about real estate investing geared towards young adults.
How can a millennial (that’s me!) connect with a generation who doesn’t know a world without internet or social media? Of course, by talking in their language – technology!
We answered the burning question: “What’s makes an entrepreneur?” by describing traits that an entrepreneur should have, peppered with stories that made them gasp in disbelief and laugh at unintended punch lines.
60 minutes. 150 graduating student entrepreneurs. 1 big challenge. Are you ready for the real world?
